It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Loyola community. Founded upon faith and Jesuit ideals, Loyola engages its students both academically and spiritually, and seeks to educate the whole person.
Our founder and namesake, St. Ignatius of Loyola, teaches us to have respect for the whole world in all of its mystery. During your four years at Loyola, you will receive an education that allows for exploration both in and out of the classroom. As you learn, you will be supported by a network of professors, peers, mentors, and alumni.
We challenge to every student is to step outside of your comfort zone and open yourself to the unique experiences that both Loyola and New Orleans have to offer. It could be as simple as taking the streetcar for the first time, or sitting next to someone new in the Orleans Room. By keeping an open mind, you will grow as a scholar and as a person.
This is where you will meet your closest friends, foster your own sense of identity, and make connections you’ll have for the rest of your life.
Cheers and Go Wolf Pack!
