Missouri S&T Volunteer Opportunity Fair Registration 2018
Thank you for registering for Missouri S&T's Volunteer Opportunities Fair on Tuesday, October 2nd 2018! PLEASE COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION BY TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH AT 11:59PM.
You are registering to set up an informational booth for your organization at our fair. We changed the name from "Civic Engagement" to "Volunteer Opportunities" to better connect with S&T students, but this does not mean that your organization must have current volunteer opportunities to attend! Phelps County nonprofits that work to improve our community and S&T service-oriented RSOs are invited to attend.
On this day, there is also a Symposium on Service-Learning being held that you or your organization members may be interested in attending. Information can be found here: http://academicsupport.mst.edu/experientiallearning/servicelearning/servicelearningsymposiums/
The fair will be in the Thomas Jefferson Residence Hall on S&T's Campus and will be open for student, faculty, and staff visitors from 3pm-5:30pm, see the full schedule below:
2pm-3pm- Check-in and Setup
3pm-5:30pm- Volunteer Opportunities Fair
5:30-6pm- Clean up
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to have at least one representative present at your fair booth at all times between 3pm-5:30pm
The main contact that you list here will receive a registration confirmation email as well as more details on location and check-in for the day of the fair.
-Your registration is free
-All booths will consist of one rectangular table and 2 chairs
-We will not be providing name tags, so it is recommended that if you would like a name tag, you bring your own.
It was suggested to us to have activities that students could participate in or other incentives at the event. We will provide a raffle as well as at least one activity for students who participate at the fair. If you would like to bring some small activity, prizes, or giveaway or way to draw students in, that would be great, if not it will not be a problem.
The event will be held outside if weather permits!
If you have any questions regarding your registration or the event, or would like to request any accommodations, please contact Sierra Shields at email@example.com or Jessica Haywood, Program Administrator for Volunteerism and Greek Life at firstname.lastname@example.org or 573-341-7981.
