Student Leader Academy Leadership Competencies

For this year’s Student Leader Academy, Student Involvement is using the competencies identified in The Student Leadership Competencies Guidebook by Dr. Corey Seemiller to guide the themes and content of the educational sessions. We ask that your presentation includes at least one of these competencies. Below are the various competency categories identified in the guidebook and the competency areas included in each category. The bold competencies are ones that Student Involvement has identified as ones that align with the goals and purpose of this year's Student Leader Academy.
