This organization's current goal is the establishment of a local Kappa Theta Epsilon National Co-op Honor Society chapter at Florida Tech.
A KTE chapter rewards excellent students, helps them improve professionally, gets them involved, and serves as a voice to promote cooperative education and internship at the university.

The Kappa Theta Epsilon organization was founded in 1957 at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, more commonly known as Virginia Tech. The original founding group wanted to recognize undergraduate students who displayed distinguished scholarship, industrial ability, integrity, breadth of interest and adaptability while participating in the cooperative education program.
