Out of the Darkness
Out of the Darkness is an organization dedicated to building awareness for the issue of suicide in the United States. With the aid of ASU health entities such as ASU Wellness, ASU Counseling Services and ASU Health Services, Out of the Darkness works to fundraise and advocate for suicide prevention research. Out of the Darkness also collaborates with the AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) to provide suicide education, offer support to individuals affected by suicide, and raise money for suicide prevention research.

The Involvement Ambassador is a student member of your organization, other than the organization's president, that will serve as the bridge between the university and your organization. Important university messages and opportunities will be shared with every Involvement Ambassador. This student leader will be expected to relay information and opportunities to the your entire membership and coordinate any related action items.
All ASU registered student organization must have a faculty or staff member serving as an advisor. By entering your advisor's email, they will automatically be sent an Advisor Commitment Form which they must complete for your registration.
This person MUST be a full- or part-time benefits-eligible faculty or staff member at ASU (the additional advisor may be a community member).
An Advisor Commitment Letter signed by the Advisor is a required part of finalizing the registration of your student organization. By entering their email, the Advisor Commitment Letter will be automatically sent to your advisor. Make sure to follow up with them to complete.
