The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) is a group of safety professionals. Students in this organization are Occupational Safety and Health majors through the College of Engineering. However, we would like to incorporate more than just aspiring Safety Professionals. The National, Regional, Local, and Student Chapters of ASSE have a large variation of members from people in the medical field to any and all types of engineering, and a variety of others.

This organization is free to join at the Student Chapter level. We do have a National Chapter membership for students that is $15 for a year. You do not have to join the National Chapter to be apart of the Student Chapter. There are many perks accompanied with the National Membership. You may attend all of the Monthly Local Chapter Meetings for free (you will get free food!).

Please contact Patrick Lynch at lynchpa@mail.gvsu.edu for more information! You may also message us through ORGSync or at gvsuoshasse@gmail.com. We would love it if you could join us!
