The annual New York City Asian American Student Conference is a free event dedicated to promoting awareness of Asian Pacific American issues and history among college and secondary school students. Now in its seventh year, this year’s theme “En Route” uses the subway system as a metaphor for the intricacies of the Asian American identity, exploring the ways in which members from diverse backgrounds contribute to an intercultural dialogue.
