Volunteer for the FALL READING BLITZ!

We hope that you all excited to start a new chapter here at Mississippi State University! Any student that volunteers for this event will receive a free lunch!

Join our “Reading Blitz” at East and West Oktibbeha County Elementary Schools on Thursday, August 15th from 12:30PM-3:30PM. We will be leaving from the entrance of Moseley Hall (South Hall) and taking MSU shuttles out to visit East and West Oktibbeha Elementary Schools to read a children's version of Mississippi State's first year reading experience book. This year’s book is called "Waiting for Ice" by Sandra Markle.

Student Volunteers will meet in the Lobby of Moseley Hall 12:30PM for their free lunch before boarding a shuttle around 1:00PM to go to their service site. Instructions will be given in the Lobby. We should arrive back at MSU around 3:00-3:30PM.

Questions? Email us at volunteer@saffairs.msstate.edu or call us at 662-325-2150.
