The Multimedia Access Center is an open lab where you can exercise your creativity, work on an assignment, attend a workshop, record a short video or simply check your email.
Located on the first floor of the Natali Student Center across from the Student Bookstore, the lab has 9 Apple iMacs and 1 Mac Pro, loaded with Adobe CS5.5, Apple’s iLife & iWork, and Microsoft Office. Specialty machines also have Final Cut Pro 5 and the iPhone and Android SDK.
Occasionally we offer workshops for students and staff, and our knowledgeable student staff is always available to help. They won’t do your homework, but they can give you tips on how to use the software.
The lab has a Sharp color printer/copier/scanner free for student use. We ask that you keep copies to a MAXIMUM of 30 copies per project, please. If you need a larger quantity, we suggest the university Copy Center (x4440). There is also a large format printer that can print up to 42″ high/wide. Printing on the large format printer requires advance notice of at least one week. There is a nominal cost associated with large format printing. You may submit your job request via our online Work Request form.
