Student Government Association and UMSL SOS bring you The Big Event! 2016  is an effort to impact one place in the STL Metro in a big way with our service.

This community clean-up event will include trash removal, removal of obstructing trees, debris, and overgrown shrubbery, service of headstones and grave markers, improvement of roads and pathways.  Wear comfortable clothes that cover you, work-boots or hard bottom sneakers. Bring a "Can-Do" attitude!

Volunteers will arrive at the Millennium Student Center for check-in, breakfast, and a brief program before being disbursed to the sites via charter buses. The service project will last approximately four hours. Interested participants must register by 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13. Walk-ups are welcome, but will only be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, pending available space, and shirt size cannot be guaranteed. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Check-in will begin at 7:30, and we will depart by 8:15. Lunch will be provided upon our retur
