Welcome to Student Veteran's of America!

First and foremost, thank you for your interest in this great organization. Here at Davenport University, we strive for excellence by motivating one another and focusing on each other's interest. Past activities, such as Chili Cook-offs, our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration, last year’s First Annual SVA Golf Outing, and frequent trips to Grand Rapids Griffins games, has proven our dedication to comradery. Please feel free to come to the Military Lounge (Sneden Rm 250) to come connect with other student veterans and help build our comradery.

Our Mission:
To provide the needed resources and support for student veterans to thrive in post-secondary education and beyond.

More specifically, we are here to help you with transitioning into civilian life, provide assistance while you're in post-secondary education, and help you connect with job opportunities when you're shifting into the labor market.

Our Vision:
We envision a nation where all student veterans succeed in post-secondary education and contribute to civilian society in meaningful, effective ways.

Whether you're a veteran of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Coast Guard we want you to take advantage of this special opportunity to reconnect with fellow veterans.
