Day of Silence Awareness Dinner

Students, professors, administrators, and vairous speakers will gather for an awareness dinner to support the LGBT Community on campus. The dinner will reflect on the importance of participating in the Day of Silence (April 21st). The Day of Silence is a day for students to stand up against bullying of LGBT students and students who are viewed as being "different." Check out Dayofsilence.org for more information on the cause.

Allies on the Avenue

Join us this holiday season as we stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ community and those who are viewed as "different." Decorate and hang Ally Bells to represent the many allies on Saint Mary's campus who stand with those who challenge the "norm." We will decorate the Avenue trees with multicolored lights and wrap them with big red bows. School in Chicago for LGBT students

Advocates and religious leaders from Chicago communities meet to discuss a possible school in Chicago with a focus on serving LGBTQ students. This school would open to students in Fall 2018.

Snow Bash on the Avenue

Students, join us as we celebrate the wonderful winter season. Indoors, we'll drink hot cocoa while eating cookies, decorating silver bells, building gingerbread houses, and snuggling up in warm blankets to watch Netflix. Outside, we'll tackle the snow as we build snow forts, snowangels, and snowmen!  Don't miss out on the snowball fight and late night Nuggets that'll follow. Wear your flannel pajamas but remember to bundle up in your snowsuits for our winter fun!
