Club Ice Hockey Receiving National Attention

As of late the SVSU ice hockey team has been recruiting for the 2015-16 season.  The team has had much interest shown in it by players from out of state as well as across borders. At the prospects camp that will be held on April 24th and 25th there will be players from multiple states in attendance. As of now one player from Washington, Oregon, one from San Diego, California, one from British Columbia and multiple from the Ohio and  Illinois area. Cardinals finish the season with a good run.

The Saginaw Valley ice hockey team finished the season at the ACHA north regionals. After a hard fought game on Friday night the cardinals overtook the Lakers of GVSU. This win would advance the team to the regional finals to play against a very dangerous MSU Spartans. The game on Saturday was a tough one for the Cardinals, they found themselves in penalty trouble and the Spartans capitalizing on all of their opportunities.
