We Want to Recognize Your Community Service!
Feb 22, 2017 by Lesley M Graybeal
Students, if you are involved in the community doing service through a service-learning course, with an RSO, or on your own, UCA wants to recognize YOU!
- We do monthly drawings for a $25 gift card for a student who has entered volunteer or service involvement that month! Congratulations to our latest winner, Colton Crain, a volunteer tutor at the Faulkner County Juvenile Court! Keep up the great service!
- The Bears Serve Challenge is a program to recognize all students who log 30 hours in a calendar year! All students receive a certificate and signature promotional item, and the student with the MOST hours will be recognized individually at the Student Involvement Awards on April 12th. Log your hours on OrgSync by March 15th to have them count for 2016-2017! Apply or nominate someone for other service-related Student Involvement Awards by March 15th as well, such as the Outstanding Community Outreach by an Individual or the Outstanding Community Outreach by a Student Organization!
- Are you graduating in May? Have you done 100+ hours of service in your time at UCA? If so, request your community service graduation cord now! Recipients will be recognized at the Service-Learning Awards on April 24th.
