2014 Saturday of Service Site Leader Application
This year's Saturday of Service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014. During Saturday of Service, around 450-500 students volunteer with various community partners at multiple service sites. Site Leaders will oversee the volunteers at these various sites.
The roles and responsibilities of a site leader are as follows:
Commit to two mandatory site leader training meetings. The meetings will be April 17th & 24th from 5:00 - 6:00 PM. The meetings will be held in the Aurora Room in the Idaho Commons.
Commit to recruiting volunteers for Saturday of Service.
Commit to showing up to the event on time. Site Leaders must be available from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
Commit to setting a high standard for volunteers.
Hold volunteers accountable to the volunteer expectations.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Maintain communication with site volunteers.
Site leaders are a crucial part of the success of Saturday of Service. This is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills and also to serve the Moscow Community.
