12th Annual LGBTQA College Leadership Conference Registration

“Visibility: A Movement that Reflects Us All”

12th Annual LGBTQA College Leadership Conference will bring together several hundred participants from across the tri-state area to discuss this movement on Visibility within the LGBTQA community. As the mainstream media pays more attention to LGBT rights, many LGBT leaders and organizations are responding by advocating for issues that are media-friendly (i.e. same-sex marriage). This year's conference theme centers on visibility. Workshops and speakers will shed light on issues that are often forgotten, such as domestic violence and classism, as well as segments of the LGBT community that are almost completely unseen, such as transgender and homeless youth. Through this theme, the conference will give the next generation of LGBTQA leaders the knowledge and tools they need to foster a fully inclusive movement that advocates for the entire LGBTQA community, especially when the mainstream media doesn't. All are welcome to attend and explore these questions whether you are new to the movement, a campus activist, an ally, or someone who simply believes in equality for all.
