Interested in Starting a New Student Organization!

The Council of Presidents and the Office of Student Activities & Campus Involvement invites you and your peers to start a new student organization on campus! The proposed group can not serve the same purpose or functionality as an already established/registered organization on campus.
All students who are currently interested in starting new student clubs/organizations on campus can stop by the office (Student Center, Suite 332) to pick up an intent to register form and grab a sample justification letter to start their journey towards creating a new club/organization. The New Student Organization Application Window and timeline is as follows:
Timeline for Spring '20
Intent Form & Justification Letter submitted: Jan 21 - Feb 17
COP Decisions Sent Out: Feb 21
NSO Orientation: Feb 24 – March 13
All Initial Forms turned in by: March 20
NSO Constitution Review Meeting: March 23 – April 10
RSO Presentation Meeting: April 28
This process CLOSES ON February 17, 2020 at 4:00 pm to turn in the proper forms/documents. Applications and requests for new student organizations submitted after February 17, 2020 at 4:00 pm will not be accepted until the Fall 2020 semester.
