Volunteer Orientation at the Boys and Girls Club
*****If you are interested in volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club, you must attend a volunteer orientation on Jan 30th or March 19th from 5:30pm - 6:15pm.*****
Volunteers are also required to complete a background check that will cost $3.00 (cash only).

The Boys & Girls Club of Starkville (BGC), vision is for all the youth of our community to become self-sufficient adults. Our mission is to help our members develop the academic and life skills they need to complete high school and their first year of post-secondary education or training.
We serve youth in grades K–12 and they are separated into 4 rooms:
K-2 (45 members)
3-4 (26 members)
5-7 (33 members)
8-12 (20 members)
We realize volunteers make a tremendous difference in the lives of youth at Boys & Girls Clubs of Starkville and are vital to the success of our programs. We invite you to learn more about how you can help kids build great futures.
We are actively recruiting fun, skilled and committed volunteers to tutor in each classroom daily. Tutoring is an on-going need and we are always looking to expand our volunteer family.
We serve youth in grades K–12 and they are separated into 4 rooms: K-2 (45 members), 3-4 (26 members), 5-7 (33 members), 8-12 (20 members)
We need at least 5 volunteers in each room daily (Monday-Thursday) between 4:00PM to 5:30PM. Your primary role is assisting with homework or building foundation skills in various subject areas (quiz, trivia, flash cards, worksheets, interactive games).
