Mission Statement

The National Security and Conflict Law Review is committed to the promotion and publication of scholarly articles that address the legal, social, economic, and psychological issues involved with sub-national and international armed conflicts. The articles published through NSAC will promote scholarly dialogue about major issues affecting national and international society.

NSAC publishes scholarly articles, comments, and casenotes addressing national security, law of war, and armed conflict-related issues. The articles may cover topics, but not limited to, that include:

• The international and national law(s) of war
• External armed conflicts
• Internal (civil) armed conflicts
• National security law
• Classifications of war
• Accepted and unaccepted war policies
• Humanitarian law
• Human rights law
