Alternative Fall Break Oct 12-14

Aug 30, 2018 by Meggan Franks

Heifer International is an Arkansas-based non-profit organization focused on community development to resolve poverty and hunger around the world. The Global Village is a hands-on educational experience where students are challenged to live in modeled developing world conditions. They are given problems to solve—including how to gather enough food for the day—and are required to engage their team-work and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.

October 12-14 a group of students, faculty, and staff will be selected to travel to the Heifer Ranch in Arkansas, for the Global Village educational experience.

Do you want an opportunity to participate in a life-changing experience, and learn about issues of global poverty and food security? Apply today for your opportunity to experience Heifer International. This trip is fully funded (food/travel/transportation) if your application is approved. Apply now by clicking here.
