2012 Panther Homecoming Ambassador

A Davenport University Homecoming Ambassador is a role model for the entire University.

Candidates for this position should exhibit qualities such as leadership, character, good citizenship, community service involvement and communication skills.

The Panther Ambassadors are positive student representatives of Davenport University.

Three criteria are used to determine the Panther Ambassadors
-Application and Resume
-Student Vote

To Qualify a Student:
- Must be enrolled as a full time student for the 2012-2013 academic year
- Must be a student of junior status or above at Davenport University
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above
- Must not be on any disciplinary or academic probation

I am a senior here at DU, getting my BA in Health Service Administration. I am also a graduate of DU for my Associate in Medical Assisting from DU. I love helping everyone out in that is who I am, and I care about everyone.

"I am currently a senior at Davenport in the Honors Accounting Program. I have loved every class I’ve had. I am the best candidate for Panther Ambassador because of my leadership skills, large amount of involvement whether as a work study or with student organizations, and my outgoing personality."

Hello Everyone! I am Charles Brendan Cooper and you should elect me as your Homecoming Ambassador because I have proven to be well rounded and a great role model through my role as a Resident Assistant at the Lettinga Campus, as well as a player for our basketball team.

Whether I am helping fellow classmates succeed or collaborating with them in Student Government or Business Professionals of America, I desire to give of myself to those whom I represent.

I’m Sarah Gombar and I am currently a senior at Davenport’s Lettinga Campus. I have loved spending my four years here doing many things: being a student athlete, resident assistant, student employee, Hero’s Mentor, Homecoming Committee Member, Green Week Committee Member, and Davenport University’s Relay for Life Event Chair.

I believe I should be an Ambassador because it would be a wonderful experience to learn and grow as a leader. I am involved with a few organizations right now where I have great leadership skills. Also, it would be a great way to get more involved with the school.

I am 25 years old and from Connecticut. As an online student I study Health Information Management. I work as Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. My passion is in health and fitness and when not lifting weights, I love to Rollerblade and just let loose!

I’m currently a senior and captain for the Women’s Basketball team. I’ve been a Pack Leader for Panther Prowl and volunteered with Special Olympics Basketball.
