Rock climbing is an extreme sport that forces one to exercise and utilize athletic ability, mental strength and strategy. The University of Miami Rock Climbing Club provides the best rock climbing experience for its members by teaching them the proper techniques and skills required to climb in a safe and easy going environment. During the time between our outdoor climbing/camping adventures in places like Horse Pens 40 in Steele, Alabama, Foster Falls in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Joshua Tree, California, club members stay in shape by climbing at Xtreme Rock Climbing gym in Kendall. Join us for some exercise and a lot of fun.
Much love, the E-Board.

The Rock climbing club provides a fun, intense and competitive environment where you can challenge yourself to the ultimate rock climbing experience. We are looking for all levels of climbers from the inexperienced to the experienced. While most of the climbing is in gyms, you can also experience climbing in the outdoors on one of our many trips to the closest outdoor climbing. Climbers of all levels are encouraged to participate in competitions throughout Florida. Besides making new friends and having a great time, the club will improve your mental and physical strengths, strategical planning, and give you an overall extreme workout.
We meet every Friday at the gliders outside of Mahoney-Pearson at 5:00pm. New climbers must bring dues, their ID, and insurance information to register for the club.
