Community Based Mentoring
Big Brothers Big Sisters offering a unique service opportunity to mentor youth in the community who face adversity. Big Brothers Big Sisters is currently enrolling volunteers for its community-based program, in which volunteers provide a one-on-one mentoring experience that has the ability to change a child’s life for the better.
Community-based Mentors will be matched with a child in their community. The Community-based Mentoring Program focuses on developing life skills that encourage social interaction to help children navigate life. Mentors are paired with their Little for one full calendar year to ensure that mentors impact their Little’s life in a meaningful way.
