Charity Week 2015 Schedule of Events:

Monday September 28:

Booths Open in Haggar Student Center: 10.00am-7.00pm

Crush Cans

Crush Cans is back! This year you can show your crush how you feel with a can of Crush soda. Buy that special someone a can of the best orange drink around. It can be your crush, or a friend. You can even buy a Dr. Pepper for your Dr. Professor! $1 each, so buy away!

Rome Photos

Want your Rome pictures hung up in the Cap Bar? Maybe your best friend’s or your roommate’s? Come vote in Haggar to see whose gorgeous Rome Photos make the cut!

Shave Off

Ever see someone who you'd be willing to pay to get a decent haircut? Now is your chance! Donate to help us reach the goals so the volunteers will have to part with their lovely locks for charity. When the goals are made, the heads are shaved!

T-Shirts

Come get your limited edition Charity Week t-shirt while you can! Last year they sold out…will the same happen this year??

Tuck-Ins

Want to see your roommate tucked in bed in the silliest way possible? Perhaps he/she will be serenaded by a Mariachi band, or the minions will giggle their way to your heart. Choose which group will surprise your roommate any day Monday-Wednesday!

KAOS 

Killing as an Organized Sport—Change your profile picture, invest in some camo, and get ready to be hunted all. Week. Long. You’ll be armed with a water gun to take down your own target as well. Midterms are a breeze compared to this stressful, strategic game! ***This Booth open from 8.00am-7.30pm

Airband: 7.30pm in Lynch Auditorium

Gather your friends and be ready to sync your heart out. All you have to do is prepare a 4min dance and lip sync routine and compete w/ other groups for the chance to win the highest honor of Charity Week, to open Male Auction w/ your lip sync routine.

Bake Sale in Haggar Foyer

What’s America without apple pie? Get your tasty treats in Haggar Tuesday AND Wednesday!

Movie Night and Discussion: 8.00pm in Lynch Auditorium

Support our veterans by taking a study break to enjoy a patriotic movie! Cinema-style viewing—snacks and all! Short panel discussion on the movie as well.

Wednesday September 30:

Booths open in Haggar Student Center: 10.00am-7.00pm  *Last Day to buy Tuck-ins!*

Bake Sale in Haggar Foyer

Quiz Bowl: Charity Week Edition in the Rathskeller 7.30pm

Come bring your friends to test your knowledge of all things 'Murica against the stacked faculty team. Prizes will be awarded, with all money supporting charity week.

Thursday October 1:

Booths Open in Haggar Student Center: 10.00am-7.00pm *Last Day to purchase Crush Cans: can still pick-up on Friday

Shave-Off on the Mall! 3.00pm

Today’s the Day! Say goodbye to that long flowing mane or beard…at least it’s for a good cause, eh?

TGIT: Karaoke! 9.00pm-12.00am in the Rathskeller

Tonight’s the night! The one and only, world famous Karaoke TGIT! Admission is $1- volunteer yourself (or a friend) to belt your favorite jam for $1 per song!

Friday October 2:

Last Day for Haggar Booths!

Silent Auction in Haggar Foyer: 10.ooam-5.00pm

Bid on a spread of spectacular prizes without saying a word!

Charity Week Social: 8.00pm-12.00am in Braniff Foyer

A semi-formal 1940’s military ball in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII and to celebrate the week’s success.

Saturday October 3:

Semper Fi-veK  

Registration on the Mall from 8.00am-8.30am. Get whipped into shape boot camp-style for Charity (Week)!

Military Brunch: 11.00am in Upstairs Haggar

Sending out a big “Thank You” to all of those in the UD community who have served the good ol’ USA in our military. Sign up for this event through the Office of Advancement.

Male Auction: 8.00pm in Lynch Auditorium

A night of UD men putting their best foot forward to get a girl. Get ready to laugh, cry, and donate to charity to support our veterans.
