Palouse Conservation District Environmental Projects (CCE Transportation Provided)
Organizational Information: The Palouse Conservation District works through voluntary, incentive-based programs to assist landowners and agricultural operators with the conservation of natural resources throughout the district. A volunteer five member Board of Supervisors along with Associate Supervisors, staff and volunteers carry out District programs and services that benefit both landowners and the environment.
Opportunity Description: Students will assist Palouse Conservation District in their environmental restoration work, including weeding, tree planting, watering, and area cleanups.
Days/Times: Transportation will be provided. Please meet in the CCE Student Resource Center located in the CUB Lower Level L45 at 10:45 AM to meet with your group. We plan to return to campus around 1:30 PM
Requirements: Service hours are allocated based on amount of direct service participation and do not include meeting time and transportation to/from the service site. Students can expect to receive 2.5 hours of service. Please dress appropriately for working outdoors. Closed toed shoes, sun protection, and water are recommended.
