13th Annual Pullman Stream Clean-Up Group 1 | 2017 Earth Day (CCE Transportation Provided)
Organizational Information: The mission of PCEI is to increase citizen involvement in decisions that affect our region's environment. Through hands-on volunteering, students will increase their awareness in the areas of watershed restoration, environmental education, and sustainable living.
Opportunity Description: Join PCEI and City of Pullman Stormwater Services for this annual community stewardship event to keep Pullman clean and green. Participants will be assigned to a stream section and remove garbage and recyclables from local waterways and adjacent paths. This event takes place rain or shine.
Location: CUB L45
Days/Times: Transportation will be provided. Please meet in the CCE Student Resource Center located in the CUB Lower Level L45 on Saturday April 22nd at 10:30 AM to meet with your group. We plan to return to campus around 1:30 PM.
Requirements: Please dress appropriately for working outdoors. Closed toed shoes, sun protection/ or rain gear and water are recommended.
Service hours are allocated based on amount of direct service participation and do not include meeting time and transportation to/from the service site. Students can expect to receive approximately 2.5 hours of service.
