Hello fellow Cougs!
Harvest House is affiliated with Palouse River Counseling, and offers day support to many different individuals. The services offered can include: training in social skills, training in living skills, preparation for work, day activities, and many other tasks depending on the day. The schedule here is made weekly, and usually consists of a morning activity and a day activity with a lunch break between the two. Volunteering at Harvest House is a great way to be involved in the community while also helping make another person’s day. Also, volunteering at Harvest House provides an opportunity to develop valuable skills and experience that are useful in a professional setting as well as in everyday life. Lastly, Harvest House has a welcoming environment, and is a great way to have fun and get volunteer hours through the CCE. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 9:30 to 2:30. If interested in a volunteer opportunity please contact Diane or Danielle at 334-6873.
Have a great year and GO COUGS!!

The primary function of Harvest House is to provide services that focus on improving lives, and help facilitate appropriate socialization and adaptive coping skills.
Harvest House is a place where men and women with severe and chronic mental illness work together towards stability and recovery. The life of Harvest House is not a program, it is people. Harvest House is made up of members and a professional staff who work together to operate the day support program. Through this cooperative work, members learn to live with their mental illness, regain productivity and self-confidence, and resume their lives in society.
