Organization Background: The local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Their mission is to serve their neighbors in need by working to eliminate poverty housing on the Palouse and worldwide. Palouse Habitat for Humanity currently builds one house per year.  All habitat homes on the Palouse have been built in part by Cougs.

Opportunity Description: Students will be assisting at the Habitat for Humanity Store. Duties at the Store can include floor assistant, pick-up crew, office assistant, or prep room (clean, test appliances, simple repairs).  

Days/Times: Transportation will be provided. Please meet at CUB L45 at 12:30 PM to meet with your group. We plan to return to campus around 3:00 PM.

Requirements: Service hours are allocated based on the amount of direct service participation and do not include meeting and transportation to/from service site. Students may receive up to 2.0 hours of service. Please dress appropriately to interacting with families and community members and come prepared to interact with a diverse group of people and assist in hands-on work.
