We're the Davis Robotics Club! We are excited to introduce our project for the 2015-2016 year. We will be working on building a SUMObot to compete at the RoboGames in April. After the competition, the club will work on teaching members new skills for future competitions.

Meetings are held Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm - 7pm in Bainer Hall 1330.

The Davis Robotics Club wishes to provide students with an opportunity to supplement their education with hands-on experience in integration engineering. This club will allow students to work together with students of different majors, and to be members of a team that integrates mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science.

Portal Information

Description

The Robotics Club supports teams of students working to create robots for fun and for local and national competitions. Project teams meet frequently, and give hands-on experience designing, constructing, and programming a robot. The club has a large project workspace, and students machine custom metal parts in the student machine shop. We accept enthusiastic students from all majors, regardless of past experience. Past competitions include Autonomous maze solving robots, Sumobots, and an autonomous quadrotor aircraft (UAV).
