Welcome to Monroe Community College! Orientation is an essential element of your transition to the college. You will learn how to be successful both personally and academically, about the services and resources that will assist you, and you will meet new and returning students who will help you make the most of your time at MCC.
Register as soon as possible because dates do fill up! There are some dates that also include specialized sessions for certain populations. Returning Adult Students will have special sessions as part of the Orientation.
What to bring with you to Orientation:
Your M# (your student ID number beginning with M00) - you will also need this to complete your Orientation registration
Your student email and password, necessary for the Technology Session all new students participate in
Your class schedule for the fall 2013 semester
A photo ID (drivers license, passport, etc.)
Comfortable shoes for walking around the campus
Other helpful items that will keep you on the road to success at MCC include:
Have you applied for financial aid? If you have not, apply now.
Have you activated your student accounts? If you have not, please activate your account.
Have you taken your placement tests? If you have not, pick a time to take your placement tests.
Have you scheduled your classes for the Fall 2013 semester? If you have not, check-out the new student advisement and registration schedule.

Check in with Health Services: Official MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) immunization records need to be forwarded to the college's Health Services Office; check in to see what requirements should be met.

We're very excited to meet you at Orientation!
