Recently in America, free speech has come to the forefront with protests, rallies, and the media. Why is free speech such a divisive, but necessary component of our democracy? What does “free speech” really mean? Join us at the CCE Public Square to learn from a diverse panel about the value of free speech and how it impacts the WSU community and the society as a whole.

Global Campus students as well as other campus students are invited to join the discussion via live stream on the CCE's YouTube channel (http://youtube.com/wsucce). Visit cce.wsu.edu/publicsquare for more events and information.

Registering for this event does not guarantee a seat. Please plan to arrive early to participate.

Students can expect to earn one hour of civic engagement time for participating.
