7:00 -7:30PM  A candlelight Vigil outside of Howe

7:30PM- Midnight Benefit Event

Typhoon Haiyan delivered one of the most catastrophic storms in history. Powerful winds, heavy rain, unstoppable waves and surges caused complete devastation and up to 10,000 people are feared dead and hundreds of thousands are homeless. Areas are still without electricity, food, water, or any form of communication.

Who the money goes to: The money collected will be going to the UN World Food Program (WFP), who is mobilizing food and emergency supplies to reach hundreds of thousands of people in desperate need of assistance. With roads blocked and airports destroyed, WFP is also using its logistical expertise to support the government-led relief effort.

Organizations participating in the effort: Society of Asian Scientist and Engineers, Filipino Association of Stevens Technology, Alpha Phi Omega, Nu Alpha Phi, , Phi Sigma Kappa, Latin American Association, Theta Xi, Theta Phi Alpha, Rotaract, Indian Undergraduate Association, Malaysian Student Association, Stevens Christian Fellowship, Chinese Student Association, Alpha Sigma Phi, Rho Alpha Sigma, Five Elements
