Description

The Full Sail University Library's primary mission is to meet the research needs of on-campus and distance-learning undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff of Full Sail University. We also strive to provide a social common area, both physically and virtually, for the sharing and discussion of ideas. As information professionals, the Library staff strongly feels that information is power. We also believe that we have a responsibility to assist both students and faculty in locating and accessing sources of information that are reliable, accurate, and useful. The Library affirms the principles asserted in the Library Bill of Rights and promotes intellectual freedom and tolerance.

Supporting the aesthetic, intellectual, professional, personal, and social growth of students, collection development focuses on immediate and future informational needs. This includes providing a diverse body of media that meets the needs of a variety of students across a wide spectrum of degree programs. Library programs and services are developed around users with emphasis on life-long learning skills.
