Founded locally in 1973, Alpha Sigma Phi Delta Eta chapter at ECU has always strove for the best in all fields. Whether it is academics or athletics to community service and sorority relations, "Alpha Sig" seeks only the top. As one of the nation's oldest social fraternities, Alpha Sigma Phi lives through the motto "To Better the Man." This motto is prevalent in the actions and ideals of every member at East Carolina University as they proudly wear the crest of the fraternity.
As one of the country's oldest fraternities, Alpha Sigma Phi has expanded all across the nation with a presence in some of the largest and most prestigious academic institutions. Founded on the values of Silence, Charity, Purity, Honor and Patriotism, Alpha Sigma Phi prides itself in its ability to live up to its national goal of "To Better the Man". Originally founded in 1973, the Delta Eta chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi at ECU has remained a prominent power in academics, sports and brotherhood. The brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi constantly strive to better themselves through all aspects of life both on and off campus. From sorority relations, to community outreach, Alpha Sig is always trying to better itself and society as a whole through creating a "Better Man".
Each organization may only have one officer listed with CRO to reserve space on campus.This role may be included in the responsibility of the President, VP, or other officers.
