The Economics Society at Fordham University is a student run Society that attempts to expose its members to current real life economic situations through various events each semester. From Wall Street to politics, it promotes related field trips, guest speakers, and competitions. These events are focused on educating students interested in Economics and Finance so that they have the opportunity to learn and attain future career goals.

The Society itself was founded in 2011 and currently has over 70 active members. With the help of many faculty members and alumni, it is continuing to grow. Everyone is welcome and the Society works toward the mission of Fordham University by attempting to advance the social, moral, cultural, intellectual, and spiritual development of its members.
