UO Miracle

Jan 22, 2016 by Ed Ortega

This is an opportunity to get philanthropy hours, so if you attend, make sure to take a picture as proof and submit to Matti for proper credit.

VFSA will be out supporting UO Miracle, they are the student-run nonprofit on campus that supports local Children's Miracle Network Hospital through a Dance Marathon.

Miracle Families and their children who are greatly impacted come to our event and speak on how Children's Miracle Network has changed their lives for the better. Their Dance Marathon is an effort to continue fundraising to help provide the tools necessary for these children to survive.

Dance Marathon is January 23rd, Saturday of Week 3, from 12 PM to 9 PM at the EMU Ballroom. There will be raffles and prizes,  food, Dutch Bros, Miracle families talking about their story, line dancing, and the Morale Captains will be teaching everyone a fun and easy dance, and much more! The biggest team and most fund raised team will get a plaque of recognition! This may also fulfills any community services hours that may be needed for you and your club members. This a great opportunity to get more involved with campus and the community and to give back to a great cause!

Some of the prizes include: KIND basket, Dutch Bros basket, Buffalo Wild Wings basket, Selfie stick, Flex Fitbit, Nike shoes, and much much more!

For more information you can visit our website, or email us at with any questions you may have.
