Welcome to the INCOSE Student DivisionĀ at Stevens Institute of Technology! The INCOSE Student Division exists to foster the definition, understanding, and practice of world class systems engineering in industry, academia, and government.

The goals of the student division are the following:

  • To provide a focal point for dissemination of systems engineering knowledge.
  • To promote collaboration in systems engineering education and research.
  • To assure the establishment of professional standards, guidelines and handbooks for the practice of systems engineering.
  • To improve the professional status of all persons engaged in the practice of systems engineering.
  • To encourage governmental and industrial support for research and educational programs that will improve the systems engineering process and its practice.

Our student division is comprised of Stevens graduate students who are interested in systems engineering. Participation in INCOSE activities gives students an opportunity to gain exposure to current Systems Engineering practices, opportunities to engage in career networking and mentoring. Our student division is affiliated with the INCOSE Liberty Chapter, which is the professional chapter for New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut ( Membership to the Stevens Student Division of INCOSE offers an opportunity to forge relationships between industry, government, and academia.
