Welcome to the Razor's Edge Leadership Development Program's official OrgSync account! This page will be consistently updated to serve as a tool for communication, the sharing of ideas as well as uploaded media from any events or activities.
First and foremost, we are looking forward to the enrollment of the new Gamma class, as well as the return of our Alpha and Beta class members. With our numbers and involvements higher than ever as well as a reformatted committee structure, Razor’s Edge is in for its best year yet. The office is highly anticipating move in day as well as the subsequent retreats and the beginning of the school year.
As for now, enjoy your summer and remember to continue Learning, Leading and Achieving! Be on the lookout for our summer newsletters to keep you updated on the happenings of the program as well as any preparations needed for a smooth transition to the Fall semester.
Please stay connected with us over your time away from NSU as you will find OrgSync is a fantastic tool that will greatly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of not only our program, but the entire institution’s student affairs system as a whole. You will find that the Razor’s Edge 2012-2013 calendar has been uploaded under the ‘Events’ tab on the main page, as we make the transition of using OrgSync as our primary operating entity.
Many of Nova Southeastern University’s offices, departments and organizations are currently utilizing OrgSync in their every day operations, so visit the ‘Organizations’ tab and search for any pages that you wish to join.
As stated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by all Razor’s Edge Leaders, it is required to check your account every 24 to 48 hours. You can set your account to automatically send an email or text message whenever a wall post, message or any other notification is created.
-The Razor’s Edge Team
The official OrgSync page for the Razor's Edge Program at Nova Southeastern University! The Razor's Edge experience is designed for student leaders who will be entering college as first time in college freshmen. They have already demonstrated a commitment to leading and to making an impact both in their schools and in their local communities. Participants must also have the desire to continuously improve their leadership abilities by learning about leadership in the classroom, by applying those lessons, and by taking on leadership roles on campus and beyond. Razor's Edge participants understand that leadership is not only about one's self, it's also about helping others achieve.
Allison Foster, Director of the Office of Student Leadership & Civic Engagement (SLCE)
Please state the purpose of your organization and provide an explanation of the activity and/or club..
Razor's Edge will contain both co-curricular and curricular components. The program and co-curricular components will be administered by the NSU Division of Student Affairs. The academic core of the Razors Edge will be housed in the Office of Undergraduate Studies through the creation of a new multi-disciplinary leadership track that participants will accrue through their involvement in the program. Program recruitment targets specific high-performing, highly involved high school student leaders both individually and in group contexts.
Please update your student organization constiution or by-laws.
