It's time to register/renew your Student Organization for the 2018-2019 school year! The information below will explain all requirements and training opportunities:

Renewal/Registration Requirements

The following are the four required parts of the Organization Renewal/Registration Process:

  • Updated OrgSync Profile-To update your profile, click on the orange bar on your organization's page and update all information for next school year's officers and organization requirements.  After you submit this online, the officers, on-campus advisor, and financial manager will be sent a message to approve the information.  All approvals must be completed before the deadlines for the organization to be considered active. Once you have completed all parts of the renewal process, this profile will be turned active.
  • Updated and Currently Dated Constitution-Constitutions must be updated every three years in OrgSync.  All constitutions must reflect that they have been reviewed and updated between 2016 and the current year.
  • Org Leader Training-The President, Vice President, or Treasurer of every student organization must attend an Organization Registration/Renewal Training during the current renewal period for their organization to be considered active.  These will take place on the dates discussed below. All training registration forms will be posted at https://orgsync.com/45834/events?view=upcoming. Registration will open on Monday, April 9th.
  • Advisor Training-An advisor for every student organization must attend an Organization Registration/Renewal Training every three years. These will take place on the dates discussed below. All training registration forms will be posted at https://orgsync.com/45834/events?view=upcoming. Registration will open on Monday, April 9th.

Organization Registration/Renewal Trainings

As part of the student organization renewal requirements, student organization leaders (president, vice-president, or treasurer) and on-campus student organization advisors (once every three years) must attend a training during the current renewal period. All organization leaders and advisors attending a session must be registered for that session.  

All trainings will include Registration Training, OrgSync Training, and Budget Training.

If you are an outgoing officer or advisor, please pass this information on to the student or advisor that is taking your place.  It is also helpful if you can add these new officers/advisors as administrators to your OrgSync page so that they can successfully update the page. 


Important Deadlines for the Registration/Renewal Process

August 3rd:  Organizations must be active by this date to participate in the Stampede Week Student Involvement Fair. Registration for the Involvement Fair will be available on July 2nd at https://orgsync.com/45834/forms/316320

September 7th:  Organizations must be active by this date to receive their SAF funding and reserve rooms on campus. All organizations will be notified of their SAF funding during the summer.

February 1st: Organizations must be active by this date to apply for SAF funding for the upcoming academic year.  After this point, no new organizations will be activated for the 2018-2019 academic year.
