Organization Overview

The Rho Zeta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was established at Furman University on May 1, 1994 and hold the title as the first, and only, historically African American sorority chartered on the campus. The Rho Zeta chapter participates in a variety of programs, both on and off campus.

Requirements for Membership Consideration:
-Have a cumulative and current C+(2.3) average
-Be a full time student during the present and prior term
-Attend Rush

-official sealed transcript, embossed with Furman University seal
-official letter from the college/university registrar that confirms your full time status as a student
-Letter of Interest
-2 Letters of Reference
-completed Undergraduate Membership Interest Application
-Evidence of Community/Campus Involvement Forms
