Women's Center Mentor Application (Professionals)
Thank you for your interest in participating in the UofL Women Center’s mentoring program!
This is the application if you are willing to be a mentor for a student. If you are looking to receive a mentor, that application is located at https://orgsync.com/44363/forms/276581
If you participate in this program, you would be matched with a member of the Women Center student groups in good standing. Mentoring provides an opportunity for students to receive professional development expertise and guidance from a trusted professional. The Women’s Center will work with each student to determine their needs and pair the student with a successful professional either on campus or in the community.
This mentorship program is an informal relationship between the mentor and mentee. Students and mentors are asked to meet one time to establish the needs and goals of the mentoring relationship and establish future meeting times and/or professional development opportunities. Mentoring can then take place electronically, by phone, or in person, depending on the desires and time constraints of the members. Recommendations from mentoring are not binding and there is no obligation to continue meeting after the initial visit.
*Pairings depend on our mentee applicant pool, so we can't guarantee that every participating mentor will be matched with a mentee.
