Learn about CCC
This event is an essential part of Caribbean Culture Week. Without sufficient publicity, the events of the week will not have a high enough attendance, and therefore will not be as successful as they can be. This is a problem that we encountered throughout last year with CCC, and therefore we are putting much more effort into publicity than we ever have. Our goal is to set up an information table in the Academic Quad to hand out traditional tropical drinks from the Caribbean to draw attention to the week and also give our fliers, quartersheets, etc. We will have an "enter to win" list where students who sign up can win a prize, which will be announced at the Island Market. We are going to set up a variety of other no-cost promotions to raise attendance at our events. The banners, paint, printed materials, free juices, etc. are just as important as the components of the other events because the publicity will make those events a success. This is why we are dedicating all our eboard members, not just the PR coordinator, to helping publicize the week!
