This award goes to a student organization that has provided its membership and/or the Metropolitan State University community with exceptional programming, activities and/or community service.
The Perseverance Award honors a new alumnus (class of May 2018 or December 2017) who successfully overcame a significant challenge(s) to obtain his/her degree.
As a show of respect for the privacy of others, please do not submit a nomination for a student/alumnus without first obtaining his or her approval. Understandably, some people prefer to keep any challenges they've overcome to themselves, and do not wish to be recognized.
This award will be given to two students who have exhibited exceptional leadership, service and personal character and good academic standing. Each student leader of the year will receive a cash award of $100, which is sponsored by the Metropolitan State University Alumni Association.
