Welcome to the Oakland University Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management

We are a proud affiliate chapter of the National SHRM organization.

Meetings for Fall Semester 2017: September 21st, October 19th, and November 16th

Location: Please look out for Flyers

All Oakland University Students are welcome to attend meetings

Our chapter focuses on touring facilities of prominent companies, making connections with HR, psychology, or business professionals in the field. Our chapter goals consist of readying our members for business world events, networking, deals and negotiations.

Although all Oakland Students are welcome to attend meetings and guest speakers, it would be greatly appreciated if all interested parties would register for each event they plan to attend. Registering would ensure sitting space and food as well as alerting officers to any special dietary restrictions a member (or visitor) would have.

If a scheduled event contains a waiver, be sure to send it in right away to secure a spot as space on tours and trips are limited.

If there are any questions or concerns please email

Thank you and lets have a great semester!
