Envision Pre-Optometry Club is a student-run organization at the University of California Santa Barbara that aims to bring aspiring students who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of eye care to gain more exposure to the field of Optometry.  We invite OD school representatives and current OD alumni students to speak.  We hold about five meetings a quarter to give members insight on different strategies for tackling the OAT, provide networking opportunities, and give information about UCSB pre-requisite courses. We offer volunteer opportunities such as participating in the annual Santa Barbara Vision Walk and donating glasses to Unite for Sight.  Envision’s main goal is to create a foundation for undergraduate students interested in pursuing optometry.
