Clothing Drive for Victims of Human Trafficking
The fact that human trafficking exists in our own city is shocking, but the reality is that it does exist and those who manage to get out of their exploitative situation do so often with little more than the shirts on their backs. For this reason, we are hoping that the BC community will think of our clothing drive as they sort through their wardrobes at the end of the semester while packing for home. We are only collecting women's clothing because the type of trafficking most often identified in Boston is sex trafficking and the victims are most often women.
All clothing we receive will go to Kim's Project of Boston. More information on Kim's Project can be found here: http://www.kimsproject.org/
We will be collecting any clothing donations from Friday December 10th through Tuesday December 13th from 5:30 to 8:00pm each evening in the McElroy and Lower dining halls.
