UTC Rowing is a competitive club program open to any full-time UTC student wishing to participate in this awesome Olympic sport (also the first intercollegiate sport). There is no experience required to join, and our athletes are a mix of experienced high school athletes and college walk-ons. We are members of the Southeastern Intercollegiate Rowing Association (SIRA) and the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA), and compete at those championship regattas in April and May. In the fall semester we also compete at various venues across the southeast against college teams of club and varsity status in 5km head race style regattas.

Competitive Club Rowing Team engaged in intercollegiate rowing competitions
The club offer its members the opportunity to engage in intercollegiate rowing; learning to row, train, and compete against other college rowing teams. Members are offered the chance to engage in a positive learning experience by training and competing in order to become better rowers, while given the chance to socialize and form new friendships along the way.
