Greetings to You,

from the Brothers of

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is an active, dynamic international social/service organization of diverse collegiate and professional men united in a Cause to bring more Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service to the world.  Since its founding on January 9, 1914 at Howard University, the Fraternity has provided 100 years of service to communities through its 700 chapters worldwide.  The official motto of the Fraternity,  "Culture for Service and Service to Humanity", is demonstrative of the outward focus of Sigmas in serving the community by working as a part of the community and not apart from the community.  Because of the inclusive nature of Phi Beta Sigma, the organization became deservedly tagged with the nickname of "The People's Fraternity" .

The Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity at the University of North Alabama is called the Beta Beta Alpha Chapter.   We always welcome inquiries about membership by those who have good character, academic success, an interest in the welfare of society.  Interested UNA men from any nationality, religion, or race are welcomed to request more information about Phi Beta Sigma.   Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity follows a strict policy regarding a professional, dignified Intake Process with absolutely no hazing.  An Interest Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, September 18, 2016.

We are very interested in networking and collaborating with other organizations and individuals at the University of North Alabama campus toward endeavors and goals that are related to our Fraternity's founding Principles of Service to Humanity, Scholarship/Academic/Personal development, and the spirit of Brotherhood among all Humankind.
