Organization Overview

The purpose of the Irish Society of Boston College is to preserve, promote, enjoy, and actively participate in the traditions, heritage, and cultural activities of Ireland. It is our intent to foster the celebration of our Irish ancestry in the Boston College community by organizing events centered around, but not limited to, the Irish language (Gaeilge), Irish sports, Irish music and dance, Irish film, and Irish traditional and contemporary history. We will collaborate with the other Irish elements at Boston College and work in unison with fellow Irish enthusiasts in the general Boston area and abroad.
