The Marketing Academy further educates and prepares students in all aspects of the marketing by providing the necessary knowledge, skills and tools they need to make informed strategic decisions in a rapidly changing, highly uncertain marketplace. Marketing is a highly dynamic discipline that thrives on changes in customer attitudes, purchasing behaviors, demographics; industries and competitors; technology; the economy; methods of distribution; and our society and culture. It is the driving force in building and sustaining meaningful and valuable customer relationships, creating and developing new markets, building differentiated brands, and creating successful public and private enterprises. It is our goal to educate students provide students with career opportunities, assist students in training for a future professional career, and to establish professional contacts in business. On a more basic level we work to provide students with more knowledge and understanding of marketing as a career field. This club offers events that are geared to expand the knowledge and skill of its members on not only the area of Marketing but on business as a whole. This is done through events such as tours of marketing firms and departments, peer advising, resume and public speaking workshops and lectures by guest speakers.

Marketing Academy is open to all undergraduate BC students who have an interest in marketing as a career regardless of their major. Our objectives include educating our members about marketing as a career field through events, lectures and workshops. We hope to prepare members for the future by providing networking opportunities, giving them ability to forge strong business connections.
